Happy Tuesday loves, it’s a new week and now more than ever I am putting my positive attitude into practice! I have been getting back into the swing of things, I am currently sore from yesterday’s workout so things are good. LOL
I want to start sharing my tips and tricks because I get lots of questions on how I run my blog, my photoshoots with collaborations or how I style my outfits in general etc.
To start off, I want to share how I’ve been taking my pictures lately when it comes to sharing my outfits on Instagram. We all know the buzz on the iPhone 7 plus, I got it at the end of last summer and it’s honestly way better than carrying around a big camera. I love capturing moments when I’m out and I want it to feel and be authentic.
The 7 plus comes with portrait mode which is definitely a game changer. I like to share my day to day outfits whenever I get the chance but also when it comes to my collaborations and working with brands, I have been taking the pictures from my phone.
Weekends are my favorite because I don’t work so I can actually do my hair and makeup, I love to just go and explore new places to eat and find cute little hidden gems where I can take a couple of quick snaps. I won’t lie, I used to get overwhelmed because I wanted to take the perfect photo but I’ve come to realize it’s not that serious. As a blogger/influencer creating content is what I do because I love it but I want it to be authentic and show my personality through it all.
I hope this was helpful in some kind of way, and if you read it to this point THANK YOU!

Happy Monday loves! Hope you all had an amazing day to start off the week, I killed it at the gym and I am more motivated than ever to get summer ready. Are you?!
Let’s get down to business because I want to keep it real with you all, I am the queen of trying samples when it comes to beauty products. LOL
Even though there are tons of reviews online that are very much helpful, I still have to try it out for myself and my skin type so that’s a huge reason why I love samples before I invest in a pricey product.
Back in December, I bought a set that came with a couple of samples from different brands all helping to reduce pores which is PERFECT and just what I needed! I bought this set from Macy’s for $25 so it was definitely worth the price! I’ve linked each item below because I want to share all the goodness with you girls and help a sista out! LOL
Make sure to click the links, I couldn’t find the sample sizes for some of the products but I still wanted to share what I got in the gift set.
Ahava Purifying Mud Masks ($12.80 eBay)
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask ($12.00 Sephora)
Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner ($18.40 Wal-mart)
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask ($10.00 Sephora) *MY FAVORITE
Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque ($33.00 Sephora)
m-61 PowerGlow Peel ($28.00 Macy’s 10 treatments)

It’s the first week of February and the stores are filled with tons of red and pink, it’s getting closer to Valentine’s Day so what are you going to wear?! I have linked a couple of items in collaboration with Go Jane head over and check them out because they are currently having a flash sale with 50% off their new styles!!
When it comes to Valentine’s Day, I have done the fancy shmancy, the casual vibe and the girly look so it all depends on what you have planned.
I am a huge advocate in taking simple pieces and dressing them up, click the links down below and start getting ideas on what to wear whether you are celebrating it with a group of girlfriends or someone special.

This top has the BEST material because it’s thick and stretchy. I love that it’s a crop top but comes in a loose fit. It’s also available in yellow and under $15!

This velvet sweater is the bomb.com!!! I got so many compliments while wearing this, the color caught my attention and once I saw the back detailing it was game over! LOL
This sweater is the perfect example of taking something casual and dressing it up, it comes in a crop top style and it’s definitely fun and flirty and on sale for under $25!
