Palm Springs Recap

GOOD morning babes, happy Monday!!

I have been a little MIA because my birthday was earlier this month and if you’re extra AF like me then you celebrate all month long! LOL

I went on a girls trip a couple of weeks ago to Palm Springs and we got the cutest airbnb, had lots of fun under the sun so if you want to know more about where my friends and I went to eat, nightlife etc. continue reading down below…

So I am now 28 and embracing another year of life!

#teamgemini

OMG babes, I fell in love with this spa because it was so cute and relaxing! It was actually my first massage EVER so i was definitely missing out but this place was perfect for my first experience. If you’re ever in the Palm Springs area, stop by www.groundedbodyworks.com

My friends and I paid $50 for 30 mins and we got “The Coachella” massage which is great for pain relief, it’s a deep tissue massage and they use trigger point therapy techniques to relieve muscle and connective tissue below the surface which was perfect for me because I live at the gym!

P.s. I was a tad bit hungover so I was very much in need of this massage! LOL

My friends were so awesome on this trip, fun and careless vibes all around!

*All of my swimsuits are from www.zaful.com

Dinner was a little tricky because my friends and I went the weekend they were hosting Splash House so most bars/restaurants were at capacity.

We had dinner at Birba  which had the cutest outdoor seating and bar for pictures HOWEVER the service could have been way better from the hostess as they were only taking reservations but we saw plenty of open tables so we sat at the bar and you all know my obsession for pizza so I had the yummiest pizza and my friends ordered pasta and spaghetti with drinks.

As for the nightlife, we did hop around a little because we were trying to find something that was more of our style in music so we ended up at Zelda’s Nightclub which plays hip hop and Spanish music which was perfect for us!

My biggest tip when traveling is to look up places where you want to go eat, activities during the day and the night life which we totally did but had to go with the flow last minute due to splash house. My bestie is the queen of yelp so that’s your safest bet!

Brunch is my FAVORITE because I love breakfast and mimosas so it’s the perfect combination! It was so hot in Palm Springs which I was definitely expecting so another tip when traveling to hot locations is to pack airy clothing, light colors and comfortable shoes are all a must!

*Pictures were taken at FARM

Now let’s talk about the Airbnb because it was PERFECT! It was a back house with its own entrance, we had the pool and backyard area to ourselves and we honestly could not have asked for more. The space inside was awesome with its own kitchen, bathroom, living room area and a bed as well so I definitely recommend this place for booking. I will leave the details down below.

Be In the Moment

Happy Wednesday babes, I feel like I’m still recovering from Memorial Day Weekend and the fact that I feel SUPER sore from my yesterday’s workout but I’m off today so I have time to relax, write this blog post and I’m also heading to a blogger event this evening.

My birthday is next week and with that being said I want to talk about being present in the moment which is something I definitely want to practice especially this weekend when I’m out celebrating with friends and loved ones. We are all consumed by social media and constantly being on our phones and I find myself constantly being on social media, texting, talking on the phone, reading emails etc. I’m always on the go and always multitasking but I randomly thought to myself, when was the last time I put my phone away and enjoyed myself?! I love creating content so don’t get me wrong but I’m always thinking ahead, taking pictures to post or thinking about the next picture I’m going to post when it really shouldn’t be that serious. So I bring this up because as I previously mentioned, I do want to practice being in the moment and it is definitely possible to accomplish. I have already started, so the next time you’re watching TV pay attention to what you’re watching. If you’re out with friends or spending time with family, enjoy their company and engage in real life conversations. There are so many ways to put this into practice so I challenge you to do this as well.

For Memorial Day I went to Hermosa Beach, I got to spend some time laying in the sand so the tanning has begun! (Let’s get toasty) I got to walk around and had some good food by the pier. If you’re ever in the area I definitely recommend Hermosa Beach because you can bar hop during the day and night as well. They had food trucks everywhere with music playing, it was a good vibe all around. I am wearing this new top via SHEIN which you know I am always bragging about because of their awesome prices. Now that it’s warming up, it’s perfect to tuck into any bottoms to accentuate your waist and I love the criss cross details on the front for sex appeal and you can dress it up or down. I will link it down below to shop.

P.s. It’s only $7!!!!

I wore it casual this time around so I will definitely style it again this summer multiple ways. I am becoming the queen of styling things more than once and I have no shame in my game.

Living Unapologetically+ Robert Wayne Footwear Collaboration

Happy Tuesday babes! I can’t believe we are halfway through May which means summer is around the corner and before we know it we’ll be back celebrating the holidays and ending 2018!!!

I want to get into the topic of living unapologetically because I am a firm believer that everyone should live this way. This topic can mean numerous things to different people so I want to share a little on how I interpret it and how I learned to live this way. Read more down below.

I think for the most part people worry about what others will think or say about them including myself but I quickly snap out of it because I would say that within the last year I started telling myself that people will talk regardless so might as well let them talk based on me showing others who I really am. So when I say live unapologetically, I literally mean with EVERYTHING! I have no shame in speaking my mind and sharing my feelings because at the end of it all I’m the one that has to go through situations on a daily basis. I’d rather go through life letting things out and not bottling up emotions etc. I believe in staying true to myself in all situations and with everyone which is also a huge reason why I love fashion because I am able to express myself through my style of clothing. I enjoy being versatile and experimenting with different looks, as long as I feel confident in what I’m wearing then that’s all that matters. Being confident and feeling unapologetic feels so good, try it and you can thank me later!

*Say what you want, what you feel and do as you please because life is too short to worry about putting others in front of your happiness!!!

I want to share this awesome collaboration I did with @robertwaynefootwear sharing my new kicks, I will link them down below to shop and let me tell you they are super comfy and go with any kind of style.

I’m all about taking one item and creating endless looks, I spent the day in Venice Beach with Robert Wayne Footwear to catch up and talk about fashion, fitness and lifestyle. I am the queen of comfort and being casual so I hope you enjoy these looks that are easy to recreate.

Look #1: Shades of Grey

I love love love wearing leggings, sweats, jogger pants etc. because I feel in my element not to mention confident in my body. I enjoy dressing this way because I basically live at the gym or I’m busy running errands etc. so I live for comfort. How perfect do these shoes match with my outfit?!

Look #2: Denim & Crop Tops

Let me start off by saying that these are my favorite pair of denim jeans, I’ve had them for years now and we all need that one pair that fits just right. For all my curvy girls out there, high waist denim jeans are the perfect style to accentuate those curves! My go to style when wearing denim is to pair it with any kind of crop top and since we are blooming for the spring time, I thought I’d pair it with a light pink top and vintage sunnies for a fresh look. Cuff up those jeans and rock them with comfy shoes and you’re good to go!

Look #3: Better in Black

For all my girls that have a whole wardrobe filled with black clothing, this outfit is for you! I decided to pair my edgy leather jacket to spice things up but kept the rest casual to be true to my style and threw on some leggings and a tank top for a day at the beach! I also threw my hair up in a messy bun because that’s just how I like to roll on a daily basis. I love that this whole outfit is black but the shoes make that pop and are a true statement with anything I wear.

How to Wear Denim Multiple Ways

Happy Sunday loves, it was a great weekend and I hope everyone had a fun time celebrating St. Patty’s Day yesterday. I spent yesterday afternoon trying different places to eat and drink in Downtown LA which I always love going to because it’s constantly evolving and finding hidden gems is my favorite thing to do. As for today, I stayed in my pj’s all day watching movies and organizing my room; it’s all about balance right?! Tomorrow is a new week so back to the gym I go and I’m ready to start off strong so let’s do this!

I am going to share my tips and tricks on how I wear personally like to wear denim multiple ways. The best time to experiment with denim in my opinion is for winter and spring because there’s no way you’ll catch me in jeans during the summer.

I like to choose a good pairs that has its own unique style to create endless looks. My must have denim style are the ones high at the waist because they fit my body like a glove and go with just about anything. This type of style is so versatile and I love that I can wear it with crop tops, bodysuits, t-shirts etc. The way to create endless looks with one pair of denim is by switching it up with your tops and shoes. Switch it up with your colors and styles of tops, same goes for shoes by wearing sandals, or sneakers and heels another day. I’ve done it all and I’m loving my new pair via Lola Shoetique I love that they look cool, they come with a flare at the ankle and a cute denim belt to cinch the waist. When ordering this style, I would say to size up because they do run small and I am wearing a size large. I love that the flare sits at the ankle because you can show off your shoes and you all know I have the biggest love for shoes so trust me when I say I am going to continue wearing this pair of jeans and styling it multiple ways.

Follow me on Instagram to stay up to date with my latest looks @segagenesis_

I also have a promo code that gives you 20% off by using “segagenesis” so I hope you like it enough to buy or any other items from their website because everything is so cute and I will be sharing more items and the direct links to shop as well.

Happy Monday! I’m loving the time change because it means spring is near and we’re that much closer to summer! I mentioned my obsession for two piece sets in my last blog post so now I am here to talk about jumpsuits.

Just like two piece sets, jumpsuits are easy to throw on as well and perfect for spring as it begins to get warmer. Two Piece Sets for Spring

Happy Tuesday loves! Spring is right around the corner which I’m so excited about, I can start bringing out my dresses, skirts, shorts but my favorite are the two piece sets. I recommend these to anyone because they are easy to throw on and let’s be real most girls take forever trying to put a outfit together, you feel like nothing works and that’s where the two piece sets come in for the win! LOL

I have so many sets in my closet, I’ve lost count but they are definitely perfect all year long and all you have to do is throw on some accessories, a jacket if it’s cool out and a cute pair of shoes. You all know I love pieces that are versatile that you can dress up or down. My latest two piece set is from SHEIN which I always brag about because they always have the latest styles and the best prices on sale. How To: Blogger Photoshoot on iPhone 7 Plus

Happy Tuesday loves, it’s a new week and now more than ever I am putting my positive attitude into practice! I have been getting back into the swing of things, I am currently sore from yesterday’s workout so things are good. LOL

I want to start sharing my tips and tricks because I get lots of questions on how I run my blog, my photoshoots with collaborations or how I style my outfits in general etc.

To start off, I want to share how I’ve been taking my pictures lately when it comes to sharing my outfits on Instagram. We all know the buzz on the iPhone 7 plus, I got it at the end of last summer and it’s honestly way better than carrying around a big camera. I love capturing moments when I’m out and I want it to feel and be authentic.

The 7 plus comes with portrait mode which is definitely a game changer. I like to share my day to day outfits whenever I get the chance but also when it comes to my collaborations and working with brands, I have been taking the pictures from my phone.

Weekends are my favorite because I don’t work so I can actually do my hair and makeup, I love to just go and explore new places to eat and find cute little hidden gems where I can take a couple of quick snaps. I won’t lie, I used to get overwhelmed because I wanted to take the perfect photo but I’ve come to realize it’s not that serious. As a blogger/influencer creating content is what I do because I love it but I want it to be authentic and show my personality through it all.

I hope this was helpful in some kind of way, and if you read it to this point THANK YOU!

Go Jane Gingham Top

We all know that Gingham is definitely in right now, I’ve seen it on everything from shorts to dresses and when I saw this top on www.gojane.com  I fell in love because not only is it a crop top but I love that it comes in baby blue. I have been obsessing over blue tones lately, it’s the perfect pop of color, it’s nice and fresh.

This top caught my eye because I love the feminine touch that it adds to the entire look. This top is also available in other colors so make sure to check out their website.

I’m going to Miami in a few weeks and I’m definitely bringing this top with me, it’s so versatile and something you can dress up or down. For today’s look, I kept things casual in all blue by wearing denim and my go to mules.

Enjoy the look. <3

Baby Blue Floral Dress

I am definitely all about the blues this summer, it’s such a great pop of color and chic as well. Floral prints have always been my obsession and this dress via https://www.instagram.com/shopwithbold/  was totally made for me!

Not only does this dress come off the shoulder but I love how delicate it looks and feels as well. The side slit is always a plus in my book to show off some leg and the cool part about this item is that it comes as a romper on the inside!

I went for an all blue look with my favorite mules and I totally felt like the Latina Cinderella hehe but who doesn’t want to feel like a princess?! I love that you can wear this with sandals for a casual look or completely dress it up in heels. I had to wear my hair up because it’s been so hot in LA!!!

Shop this dress by clicking the link above and it’ll redirect you to their Instagram page.

Enjoy the look, xoxo
