Dresslily Review: Color Block Sweater Dress

Are you guys getting total 90’s vibes here?!

Because I definitely am and I must say the big inspiration behind this is every girls favorite 90’s movie,
Clueless!

I love this color block sweater dress via
they have awesome items that I keep falling in love with!
Sweater dresses have become my thing this season and LA has the perfect weather that allows us to wear light layers, which I am definitely not complaining about!I picked the dress in this color because it’s easy to pair with, it’s stretchy and so cozy! Not only is this a sweater dress but it’s also a color block bodycon dress that fits like a glove!Click the link above to get this exact dress and it’s also under $10 which is a huge steal!!!

I paired the dress with over the knee socks which takes me back to the movie Clueless, I love this trend and of course it also helps to keep me warm.

I added my go to black booties to help with the color blocking along with my favorite leather backpack.

I love how this look turned out and you can get the look as well by clicking the link and shopping!
So GO!!

Dresslily Review: Long Knit Cardigan

I am currently having sweater fever and this sweater c/o

is so comfortable and cozy.

Knit sweaters are always my favorite to layer in and this one caught my eye because it’s a long line cardigan.
This sweater has the perfect pop of color and I have been wearing it so much lately because of the thick material.
Because of the longline style, I can still wear dresses or shorts underneath like I did for today’s post.

I have always been obsessed with shorts and I am here again with my go to pair of high waist shorts. I’m laughing on the inside because the last time I wore these shorts on the blog I said it would probably be the last time until next year but that obviously wasn’t the case.
It was a little warm out so I had to take advantage and this knit sweater definitely helped me out. This tan color is so easy to match so believe me when I tell you I have been wearing it non stop.
I decided to go casual this time around with no heels and kept it light and on the go.

I love that this cardigan comes with pockets as well because that’s a huge plus in my book
to stay warm and it actually fits my phone.
I have seen this sweater available in grey as well so go and check it out!

I added my Mickey graphic tee along with my booties and favorite hat which came together rather quickly and so effortless.

I have also been obsessing over backpacks because they obviously come in handy to keep  my hands free.
I shared this backpack about a month ago and I love that it comes with so many compartments.
The black color is perfect and chic, it also comes in a leather material.

With a bold lip and sunnies I was ready for my day ahead!
Enjoy the look!

Lace Up Sweater+ Corduroy Skirt

Finally, some true fall weather!

I am obsessed with this beautiful lace up sweater, it’s so cozy and goes with anything.

I received this sweater c/o
and I’ve been seeing this sweater all over Instagram so I’m glad I chose it because it really is perfect for the cooler weather.

Lace up details are everything right now so it was a no brainer when I saw it on their website.
I like that the lace ups are subtle because the strings are thick and long so it’s not wide open which is PERFECT!

I love the over sized sleeves and the color is my favorite because it screams fall/winter!
I’ve been wearing it so much lately and always get so many compliments, I do plan on sharing it some more on the blog so watch out!

I collaborated with this brand earlier this year for the spring/summer season so they definitely have some cute stuff, go check them out!

I paired it with my new corduroy skirt which also comes with lace up details, it’s so comfortable and stretchy which I love.

I fell in love right away when I saw the color online, don’t worry because I will be sharing a haul pretty soon on my YouTube channel.

I am really taking advantage of showing off my legs while I still can before the cold weather becomes unbearable.

I also purchased this skirt because it is definitely a versatile piece, the perfect staple piece that is perfect all year round.

To bring the look together, I paired this outfit with my favorite tan booties along with my tan cross body c/o
and my fall look was complete.

Enjoy.

Olive Green Vest+ Leather Backpack

Finally, the temps are cooling so I can layer a little more and bring out my darker color palette.

I received this cute leather backpack in collaboration with Madora which is a cool app for shopping and fell in love as soon as I saw it!
Check out Madora and download their app to start shopping!

I needed a black backpack and this one is perfect now that we are transitioning into fall and OMG it has so many compartments and I love it!
It’s the perfect size and doesn’t feel bulky which is a big plus for me.

I paired the backpack with my black romper that I’ve had now for years and years, it’s an oldie but goodie.

To add some layers, I added my olive vest which is another oldie but goodie and the perfect pop of color.

I usually wear the vest zipped up with leggings so this time around I left it open to show off the romper and it turned out perfect just like I wanted it to.

I’m slowly transitioning my shoes over as well but since it’s still somewhat warm I have to take advantage and wear all of my open toe shoes before it actually gets cold.

I wore my black choker and a brown lip to complete my look.

I’m excited to wear this backpack out more often with different styles and vibes so stay tuned.

Enjoy.

Black+ Orange Lace Skirt

Happy Monday everyone!
I have been so busy shooting so many different looks,
so don’t worry because I’m here to stay.

I’m excited to share what’s coming up but for now, I’m here with my last #ootd from my festival style lookbook.

I put this outfit together and wanted to head in a different direction, I wore my orange lace skirt which I found late last year and knew it would be perfect for this time of year.
I love finding hidden gems while shopping and found this skirt on clearance for under $10!!
I’ve had long skirts in the past but never orange or with lace so it was a must for my closet.

I love that the lace is see through and there’s a mini skirt inside which gives it beautiful detailing.
I paired it with black booties for some edge along with my black bandeau to let the skirt be on its own with nothing to cover and take the shine away.

I love trying different looks and this is exactly how I imagined it to be.
Enjoy the look.

Happy Monday!
I am beyond excited to share a new lookbook I did in collaboration with
this is now the third time we have collaborated and each time is a fun and new experience.

I styled the Navy Blue Timberland Glancy Boots and let me start off by saying how comfortable they are to walk around in, even with the heel it feels like I’m walking on a cloud. The cushion feels amazing and I was off walking the streets of LA.
Click here
to browse through their website and see all of the awesome styles they have to offer.

These boots add versatility to my closet and the possibilities are endless, I will be sharing three different looks.

To start off I am going to share a very casual look and this was perfect to walk around Los Angeles and being that we are in Spring, it feels great to jump into shorts and soak in the sun.

I love this street style look and the plain long sleeve gives me room to move around and feel fresh. I let my hair down, added a bold lip color for some fun to spice up the look.

This #ootd was inspired by Jennifer Lopez also known as “Jenny from the block”
I’ve always enjoyed seeing her street style looks, they are to die for so it was something I had to re-create.

I added the gold hoop earrings and a gold watch for a pop and my look was complete.

Enjoy.
