Hi babes, I’m FINALLY getting around to sharing my baby shower photos, I am a month late but here I am. I want to say thank you to my family and Bryant’s family as well for being a huge help to us and for the beautiful day we all spent together!
It was a crazy time as Bryant and I were moving into our new place all while planning our baby shower but I couldn’t have pictured it any other way. Spring in LA can be tricky because that’s when we randomly get cooler weather, it rains here and there or it’s windy. I was so worried because it was consistently raining every weekend before my baby shower and I didn’t have a second plan to follow so I was super lucky because that day the weather was warm and sunny!!
I wanted the decorations to be simple again just like my gender reveal and of course all DIY projects that my family and Bryant’s were able to help with. I was going to wait and share my baby girls name until after she was born but it’s so special to my heart so I went ahead and shared it at my baby shower.
The food was BOMB.com, both families cooked amazing dishes and we had food for days! My parents are from El Salvador and Nicaragua and both of Bryant’s parents are from Nicaragua so you can only imagine how good everything was! I originally wanted to go all out for my baby shower because that’s just the extra attitude in me but quickly changed my mind to have something more intimate as both families are huge plus it was all I really needed to have this special time. (I had a separate baby shower with friends, so still got to be extra! LOL)
I am so grateful for all of the gifts we received and we pretty much got everything that was on our registry. It’s so crazy and surreal to think how fast my pregnancy has gone by because it feels like it was yesterday when I found out I was pregnant and here I am now, a couple of weeks away from giving birth to my baby girl! She moves like crazy and it’s definitely going to be a bittersweet moment when I no longer have her in my belly but I’m also so excited and can’t wait to have her in my arms!
This journey is different for every mom but I have to give thanks for blessed I’ve been throughout this experience because it’s been easy to say the least, I’ve been able to workout throughout my whole pregnancy so all of this has been such an empowering moment.
I’ve also met sooooo many moms on Instagram who are currently pregnant or already have kids and it’s been awesome that we’ve been able to make these connections and give each other advice. I’m proud to be part of the mommy tribe so thank you to everyone who has been so helpful and genuinely care!
Delilah will be here very soon and I can’t wait to be the best mom I can be for her! I will continue to share this new journey even after she’s born. Stay tuned!
Happy Tuesday babes, spring is in the air and I want to share some of my current favorites fromLola Shoetique that you can mix and match to create endless looks. You can buy key pieces to update your wardrobe for spring and you’re ready to go!
In my last post I shared how to wear denim multiple ways which is a great statement piece to have in your closet. I will link the denim down below again so make sure to click and shop.
Spring has sprung but I am still taking advantage of wearing light layers and of course the SHOES. I got the dopest pair of lace up boots and they go over the knee as well, I love that they don’t have heels so they can definitely be worn with casual outfits or dressed up. I have been wearing them with everything lately before it warms up.
Happy Monday! I’m loving the time change because it means spring is near and we’re that much closer to summer! I mentioned my obsession for two piece sets in my last blog post so now I am here to talk about jumpsuits.
Just like two piece sets, jumpsuits are easy to throw on as well and perfect for spring as it begins to get warmer. Jumpsuits are also a favorite of mine because it transforms your look, you get to look chic while still being effortless which is definitely the best of both worlds. My latest look is from SHEIN and I’m loving the stripes and color combo, I am definitely bringing back tons of looks with off the shoulder details.
During spring I love wearing jumpsuits with sandals and a denim jacket to go out with friends or a casual date for a fun and flirty vibe or like I did here with black accessories and dress it up. I’ve attached the link down below to shop, hurry because it’s on sale!!! I’ve also attached similar jumpsuits and they are under $30.
Happy Tuesday loves! Spring is right around the corner which I’m so excited about, I can start bringing out my dresses, skirts, shorts but my favorite are the two piece sets. I recommend these to anyone because they are easy to throw on and let’s be real most girls take forever trying to put a outfit together, you feel like nothing works and that’s where the two piece sets come in for the win! LOL
I have so many sets in my closet, I’ve lost count but they are definitely perfect all year long and all you have to do is throw on some accessories, a jacket if it’s cool out and a cute pair of shoes. You all know I love pieces that are versatile that you can dress up or down. My latest two piece set is from SHEIN which I always brag about because they always have the latest styles and the best prices on sale. I’m sad to say it is currently sold out but I am still going to link the item so you can get a closer look at the details and hopefully it gets restocked.
Blue is definitely in right now and perfect for the spring season, I absolutely fell in love with this romper via www.gojane.comit’s beautiful and I love the way it flows.
When I ordered it, I originally thought it was a dress underneath but it’s actually a romper with a long back which is perfect because you don’t have to worry about showing too much but can still feel comfortable and cute.
Every single detail is perfection which adds so much character and brings the right kind of attention. I love the cold shoulders and that it also comes with long sleeves. The material is light and fresh so it can be transitioned into summer. This is definitely a must have, you can wear it out for lunch, the beach, a casual wedding, it’s an all purpose item you can wear.
I love that it has a little bit of everything, it’s sexy yet chic which is always a favorite of mine and can be worn with sandals or like I did here with my new tan heels which are also by Go Jane. These heels are so comfortable to walk around in not to mention how cute they are! There’s no such thing as having too many shoes and these go with just about anything.
Go Jane is definitely one of my top stores that I love shopping with online because they have so many awesome items to choose from that you literally want it all to yourself! They have it all from clothes, shoes, to even accessories so click the link above and check them out!
I am finally sharing this super cute look and I have a deep obsession for pairing blue and pink together. This casual and chic look is perfect for spring and I have tons of new off the shoulder tops that I will be sharing soon.
How cute is this pink top?! I received it via http://www.rainbowshops.comand I love how delicate it looks and feels. This shade of light pink screams chic in my book and I love that it’s a crop top as well which is another obsession of mine.
I wanted this look to be cute and simple so I wore my new frayed denim jeans and when I spotted this pair at Forever 21, I tried them on right away and they were a definitely a winner! Frayed details are in right now and I love how these fit my body, they are tight and come high at the waist but come with a loose fit at the bottom.
I love denim so much that I picked out these cute little denim sandals which are also from Rainbow Shops. Click the link above to shop their website and get some awesome deals.
Enjoy this spring look and stay tuned for many more to come. xoxo
Please follow Leslie, she’s an amazing photographer to work with and I love how professional and sweet she is. I will link her down below so you can check out her Instagram.
Denim just got that much better with this skirt I received via http://www.agacistore.comand it’s the perfect item to start spring off the right way. I am sharing this look with a mocha colored crop top from A’GACI as well and I kicked off my shoes for this perfect sunny LA weather.
It feels so good to be getting warmer days, this denim skirt is the perfect accessory with the ruffled details and fits the body just right. Do you have your outfits ready for Coachella and the festival season that awaits?!
You can pair this skirt with tons of options, dress it up or down and it’ll look good with anything. My favorite part is the light wash because it’s so easy to pair with and trust me when I tell you, it’ll come back to the blog so I can show you how versatile it can be.
I love to keep my outfits simple and what better way than to throw on a cute backpack?! It’s so convenient and another great accessory for the festival season. I love the gold details and I have been using this backpack everyday since I received it. Enjoy the look!
